Rx Kids Expands to Galesburg, Oshtemo Township, and Wakeshma Township

"County Commission Chair Jen Strebs framed the expansion as a test of whether political commitments translate to action. “Political talk can be cheap when it’s not followed up by actions,” she said. “When we’re gonna stand up and say investing in young people, supporting families matters, but we don’t move forward investments that actually make that happen — they’re empty words. What we see here today is a collaboration with state government, local partners, our philanthropic community, community advocates, thought leaders, public health officials and experts that bring forward actual meaningful solutions.”
